UPDATE: The Strategic Importance of FOX News to the Clinton Campaign

In a previous post today it was suggested that, at this point in the race, with Obama's delegate victory close to certain, Ms. Clinton's best chance to overtake Mr. Obama -- possibly her only chance to overtake him -- would be through a media-driven scandal that significantly dents Mr. Obama's mainstream appeal and makes his delegate advantage immaterial. The Clinton campaign is clearly thinking the same thing. Below is video of Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAullife cozying up to FOX News last night -- the very FOX News that could provide the Clintons that media-driven scandal. We have every reason to think the cozying was deliberate. Stay tuned.
